Advertising Schools
There are over 150 advertising schools in the United States. Many of these are connected to
Art Institutes, some are connected to adult learning schools and still others are connected to business schools in
association with Business and Marketing degrees. In that case, the advertising curriculum is usually a minor.
Regardless of how you slice it, there are many options to choose from if you are looking for this type of school or
course of study.
In the United States, some of the most highly acclaimed Advertising schools are located in, not surprisingly, some
of the best business schools. Harvard University, Texas A&M, Kellogg and Wharton are among the very finest for
marketing and advertising in the country and by some standards, in the world. They work with many corporations to
not only bring in real life experience through guest lecturers as well as real life assignments, but they also
place many of the graduating students into Fortune 500 corporations.
But if you don't want to go one of these extremely prestigious advertising schools there are plenty of other
options for you. In fact, if there is a local community college in your vicinity, classes in advertising are most
likely available. Although these schools might not be a top ten college, the education you get will still be as
valuable to you as you start to apply your learning to your business.
For those that are adults and looking for adult learning schools, there are many colleges that specialize in this
that also have advertising schools and curriculum. University of Phoenix is probably the one with branches in just
about every state in the US but there are many, many more as well. Adult learning schools tend to teach life skills
for those in the workplace already and advertising is one of those skills.
There are also many online advertising schools where you can then take a full degree in advertising and/or
marketing. There are over twenty accredited colleges that offer full degree programs in advertising. This method of
learning is not for everyone but does work for many. With all these options open to you, that degree you are
seeking can't be too far away.
